  • What will the run order look like at the Stratford Spectacular?
    • This year, the run order will be altered from the usual Ultimate Showdowns order. After listening to many of our racers, we have switched things up and the run order will be as follows:
      1. Top Dragster
      2. Top Sportsman
      3. Outlaw 10.5
      4. Pro Mod
  • What are the run times at the Stratford Spectacular?
    • After hearing from many of you about the late run times, and the long days both Saturday and Sunday, we have rearranged the run times to hopefully ensure that this will not happen. Run times will be as follows:
      • Qualifying: 7:30pm Friday, 1pm and 4pm on Saturday
      • Eliminations: 7:30pm Saturday and will start again at 12:30pm on Sunday
  • Who is handling the gate fees and payouts at the Stratford Spectacular?
    • Grand Bend Motorplex will be handling both the gate entrance payments and the payouts at the end of the weekend. These gate fees and payouts have been agreed upon by Ultimate Showdowns and GBM.
  • Will the track be handling the track safety and tech inspection at the Stratford Spectacular?
    • Ultimate Showdowns in partnership with GBM will be looking after track safety. At this time, GBM will be looking after tech inspection.
  • Are the Ultimate Showdowns Rules and Regulations being upheld at the Stratford Spectacular?
    • Yes – the Stratford Spectacular will run the same way that Ultimate Showdowns ran all of its races last year. The Rules and Regulations that can be found on the website are those that you should be following.
  • Are you allowing TS/TD competitors to use the MSD ARC box or the Mallory ignition? Some people feel that this is a definite competitive advantage and borders on traction control
    • No, the mentioned equipment will not be allowed. We will be using the same rules as NHRA for Ignition/electronic devices, regardless of which track we are at
